Houston Pets Alive! recently partnered with a local shelter to rescue 42 Yorkies seized from a potential backyard breeder as part of an ongoing animal cruelty investigation. These Yorkies, ranging from just 4 weeks old to 10 years old, were in desperate need of medical care, proper nutrition, and a safe environment to recover.

While we are still learning more about their past, we know these dogs require critical veterinary treatments, spay and neuter surgeries, vaccinations, and ongoing care to thrive. Your support will directly impact their recovery and help provide the life-saving care these Yorkies and many other at-risk pets desperately need.
