Yesterday, a partner shelter reached out with an urgent plea: a severely malnourished mama dog—just 28.45 pounds—and her nine three-week-old puppies needed immediate rescue. With limited space and resources, their future was at-risk and we knew we had to step in. Now we need your help!
Taking in 10 dogs at once is an enormous strain on our resources. Sarah (mama dog) is in rough shape, struggling to nourish her puppies, and without a vet on staff, the costs for food, supplies, and medical care are adding up quickly—times ten.
Over the next several weeks, this family will need constant care. We’ll go through pounds of food to help mama regain her strength, cans of wet puppy food for critical nourishment, countless puppy pads, and crucial medical support to ensure they all stay healthy.
