We’re reaching out to you today with a heartfelt plea to help Bugsby, a dog we recently saved, who was found by a local shelter in critical condition and in need of immediate care. The shelter reached out to us for help in an effort to give him the best chance at life and our team jumped into action.
Bugsby’s life is one of extreme neglect and hardship. Found emaciated and on the brink of starvation, he potentially only had days to live. Due to his severe malnutrition, he requires round the clock care and feeding in small increments to ensure his body is able to digest the food well, and an incredible, experienced foster has stepped up to give him the attention he needs. However, Bugsby still has a long time of dedicated care to go to recover. Despite the immense challenges he faces, Bugsby’s will to survive remains unbroken, but he can’t do it alone.
Bringing animals like Bugsby into our program requires a lot of staff, foster power, and resources, but we are committed to continuing to care for those without other options.
